Member of the Month

Hope Wiland

Hope Wiland, a resident of Oakwood, has been a member of our church for the past five years.

During her time in our church, Hope has served as a deacon, helps in the kitchen with Youth Club, assists with the snacks and crafts at Sunday school, and has been a greeter for worship services.

Hope is a widow. Her husband, John, passed away after they had been married for 26 years.

Hope has a sister, with whom she lives, and a brother.

Hope’s favorite hymn is “Here I Am, Lord.”

Among Hope’s hobbies are crafts, embroidery, and sewing. She has a cat named Bud.

Hope comments, “I love my church, and I love taking care of the kids at Youth Club.”
