Melissa, a Crafton resident, officially became a member of our church in October. But she has been worshiping with our church and taking part in church activities for about three years.

Melissa spends her time caring for her 81-year-old grandmother.

She likes helping with the music class at Youth Club on Wednesdays. She also helped with the haunted house and plans to assist with the Christmas decorating at the church.

Melissa’s favorite hymn is “Here I Am, Lord.” Her favorite passage in the Bible is Isaiah 66:13: “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”

Melissa has two children. Larissa is in the fifth grade at Crafton Elementary School. She has been an active member of Youth Club and Adventure Group. David is in kindergarten at Crafton Elementary. He attended preschool at our church.

As a family, they like to swim at the Crafton pool, go to Larissa’s cheerleading and softball games, and go to David’s baseball games. They also like coming for Youth Club.

Melissa says: “I really enjoy, and have been learning a lot at the parenting group and always look forward to Mom’s Time Out. Thank you, Tricia (Sanders), you’re the greatest!”
