attend church throughout college. My
family jokes that even with all this early involvement in the church, it took
me nearly 35 years to become a ‘PK’ (preacher’s kid). It is wonderful to be back in a church where
I have been taken in as part of a family, and I am able to be myself, and
through their nurturing, I am allowed to grow.”
