Dan, Karen, and Danny Black

and Nellie Wergin

Dan, Karen, Danny, and Nellie (Karen’s mother) live together in a house in Green Tree. Dan and Karen joined the church in 1997 and Danny was baptized in 1998 when he was two months old. Nellie became a member of our congregation this year.

Dan does kitchen and bath remodeling. Karen is a real estate agent at the Keller Williams office in Mt. Lebanon. Danny is a 2^nd grader at Aiken Elementary School in Green Tree. Nellie was a seamstress and made slip covers and drapes.

Dan has helped make numerous repairs around the church building over the years. He also very much enjoys helping with the youth group’s annual haunted house. Danny enjoys Youth Club and taking part in special events that the youth programs offer.

As far as their favorite hymns are concerned, Dan likes “Amazing Grace,” Karen likes “Holy, Holy, Holy,” Danny likes “Big House,” and Nellie likes “How Great Thou Art.”

In the Bible, Karen appreciates the 23^rd Psalm, and Nellie likes John 6:21 where we are told to be not afraid.

In their spare time, Dan likes fishing and camping; Karen enjoys gardening; Danny likes Play-station and sports; and Nellie sews and does crossword puzzles.

Their pets include Joey, a 3-year-old orange tabby, and Gilbert, an 18-month-old Springer spaniel.
