Loren, Chris, Samantha, Logan, and Jacquelyn Todd

The Todd family lives in the Chartiers City section of city, near Sheridan.  They have resided there for 49 years.

Although Loren is presently on disability, he previously worked as an auto mechanic, truck driver, and school bus operator.

Loren joined our church in 1967, having attended since 1955.  Chris became a member of the congregation in 1988.  All of the Todd children have participated in confirmation class at our church: Samantha in 1999, Logan in 2002, and Jacquelyn participated in this year’s class.  The Todd’s connection to the church really started as far back as August 20, 1931 when Loren’s father, Charles L. Todd, was born.

The Todd children are extremely faithful Sunday school participants.  Several years they won the award for the best attendance.  Logan and Jacquelyn both help at Youth Club, they take part in the PYC youth group, and have gone on mission trips.  In the past, Loren attended Sunday school and says that he even tried out for the junior choir.  Chris often helps with church activities, such as the haunted house.

When asked to name a favorite hymn, they chose “I Love To Tell The Story” and “Blest Be The Tie That Binds.”  The 23rd Psalm is their favorite portion of the Bible.

The members of the Todd family enjoy camping and roller skating.

The Todd household also includes 1 dog, 13 fish, and 1 land turtle.
