Members of the Month

Rob and Laura Peck

Rob and Laura Peck have lived in Collier Township for about a year and a half, having purchased the home of Laura’s grandparents.  Previously Laura had lived in Sheridan and Rob lived in Crafton.

Laura is a controller for an audio-visual firm named ProCom Systems, which is located in Bloomfield.  Although she has only been there for seven months, she says she enjoys the job and works with a great group of talented people.  Rob is an accountant for Jordan Tax Service in Bethel Park.  He has been there for over three years, and he deals mainly with property and wage taxes but also handles the books for smaller companies as well as preparing personal and corporate tax returns.

Rob and Laura have been members of our church for about a year and a half, and they say they are excited to be part of a warm and loving congregation.

Laura was recently ordained as an elder at our church.  She is looking forward to working with the Finance Commission.  Rob has helped with the Property Commission and assisted with the hillside landscaping last summer.  Rob also played a part in last year’s Maundy Thursday dramatization.  Both are planning to take part this year.  Rob and Laura have also helped serve the meal at the Northside homeless shelter, and they have served as liturgists during worship.

Laura and Rob currently do not have children, but they say they hope to be blessed with a family in the near future.

Rob and Laura enjoy working around the house, camping, and spending time with their families and each other.
